Magic Cat

In Magic Cat, you survive against an army of books with magic spells for as long as you can.

Made for the GMTK Game Jam 2022. Theme was "Roll of the Dice"

You can fight back with your own magic, however, your spells are tied to the roll of a die. When the dice are rolled, you automatically shoot whatever spell you rolled. The spells are:

• A forward shot that does lots of damage to the first enemy it hits
• A boomerang throw that travels forward before turning back
• A homing shot the hits the closest special enemy
• A laser that eradicates anything in its path
• A burst of 3 fireballs in a spread
• A large explosion that erases anything nearby

Menu Controls:

• W and S / up arrow and down arrow - change selection
• space / enter - select

Gameplay Controls:

• WASD - Move
• Shift - Slow movement speed
• Space - Roll Dice
